During the interview, when asked about how Jonathan Kuminga is managing the drama of falling out of Steve Kerr’s rotation, Draymond defended the 23-year-old forward and applauded his professionalism and grace in handling the ongoing situation.
Green stated, “He's dealing with it better than probably I would. The way he's dealt with this at 23 years old, I tip my hat to him because he's staying engaged, he's in here working out every day, and his attitude is the same every day. He comes in with a smile...the way he's reacted and responds to this will not only carry the rest of his basketball career, but his demeanor will carry him the rest of his life well because he's been incredible. He's staying ready. He's one of the best young guys I've been around."During a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green shared how Kuminga brought Brandin Podziemski off a ledge during a stressful bench moment, despite his own future being stuck in limbo.
