NEW DELHI: Reggie Jackson led the Denver Nuggets to a 107-103 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Monday, overcoming the ejections of coach Michael Malone and star center Nikola Jokic. Jackson contributed 21 points and six assists, while Jokic was ejected with 1:22 left in the first half after receiving his second technical. Jokic finished the game with nine points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Denver coach Michael Malone was ejected from the game with 1:21 remaining in the first quarter for disputing calls with the officials. Despite these challenges, the Nuggets managed to secure the win.


Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 20 points for the Nuggets, ending a four-game road losing streak. Christian Braun contributed 15 points and six rebounds, Michael Porter Jr. scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Aaron Gordon added 11 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.

Cade Cunningham led the Detroit Pistons with 27 points and nine assists. Marvin Bagley had 18 points and eight rebounds, Jaden Ivey added 17 points, and Isaiah Stewart contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Nuggets held a narrow 56-55 halftime lead, with contributions from all 10 players who saw action. Despite Jokic's ejection, the team managed to secure the lead until the fourth quarter.


The Pistons made a push in the final quarter, with a 7-0 spurt allowing them to regain the lead. However, Denver responded with key plays, including a three-point play by Jackson to tie the game at 97-all. Gordon's three-point play with 1:25 left gave Denver a 106-103 lead, and the Nuggets sealed the win on a Jackson free throw with 1:01 remaining.
