James Harden makes history with another milestone in his prolific NBA career

James Harden’s team LA Clippers has claimed the victory over the Utah Jazz with 116-105. James Harden played Sunday's game against the Jazz needing just one 3-pointer to move into second place on the NBA’s all-time list. And he did as the 35-year-old wasted no time and hit a pull-up 3 from the right wing in the first quarter. That shot brought his career total to 2,974, surpassing Hall of Famer Ray Allen to claim the all-time second place.
Harden struggled early against Utah as he missed his first three 3-pointers. He had tied Ray Allen in Friday's loss to the Rockets, but finally made his fourth attempt with 6:09 left in the first quarter. He finished the game shooting 2-for-8 from deep.Harden has only one NBA star to surpass to claim the topmost position in the list, but it appears that he might have to settle with the second spot as he is far behind Golden State Warriors legend, Stephen Curry with his stunning 3,782 career 3-pointers.
Currently, Harden is about 800 behind, and considering his age and Curry being still active in the game, the 35-year-old may have to sit at his position while retiring. Regardless, Harden has made one of the most incredible feats in the history of the game. Also Read: Paul George clarifies his viral comment, sends a strong message to Clippers fans about $2B Intuit DomeAs for Harden’s stats, as per USA Today, he has a career 3-point shooting percentage of 36.3% and led the NBA in made 3-pointers in 2017-18 (265), 2018-19 (378), and 2019-20 (299).
