“A king to now a prince” - NBA fans drop crazy reactions as Luka Doncic and JJ Redick’s off-court verbal altercation goes viral
The Los Angeles Lakers are on a roll with two consecutive wins against the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings. On Saturday, the team swept one of the most comfortable wins in recent times. However, while the team celebrated their wins, a clip from the Lakers' clash against the Warriors went viral recently. It showcased the Lakers' star Luka Doncic getting involved in a verbal altercation with the team’s head coach, JJ Redick.
The clip went viral immediately and crazy fan reactions started dropping in instantly. They started commenting on the probable strained relationship between the player and the coach. Some even believed that Luka’s move from the Dallas Mavericks to the Lakers brought the player’s position from “a king to now a prince.”
The viral clip generated crazy reactions from fans who even drew a reference to Luka’s shocking trade from the Dallas Mavericks. One of the fans with the username quantedOptions wrote, “Luka went from being a king to now a prince. Never easy.” Another fan with the username Chie Waters commented, “Yup, amazing how 2 man podcast team can ruin a once legendary franchise. I hope Luka leaves for nothing.” Some fans even believed that if the relationship between the athlete and the coach is strained, JJ will be out of the Lakers soon. Keepingit100 added, “I can assure you that if this is the case. That the Lakers will be saying goodbye to JJ.”
One of the fans even believed that Luka’s reaction had something to do with LeBron’s interaction. Kenneth commented, “Maybe it had something to do with Luka's interaction with James, while pouting his way to the bench?” A section of fans believed that it was just a simple misunderstanding that could be fixed. One of the fans with the username Hassiem wrote, “It honestly looks like a misunderstanding that can be fixed. Don’t think it had anything to do with the game. Looks like Luka is still down on himself (off court) JJ tried to give him a 5, Luka doesn’t see & keeps walking, JJ forces it & holds his hand basically a lil offended.”
