During the discussion at “The Association” program between MJ Acousta Ruiz, Tristan Thompson and Cuttino Mobley, the camera in the stadium moved towards A’ja Wilson. The Las Vegas Aces star was present in support of her partner, Bam Adebayo. Wilson was wearing a grey sweatsuit. Tristan complimented the suit before the camera moved to show Bam on the screen. MJ Acousta quickly referred to him as “A’ja Wilson’s boyfriend.” This was when the weird prediction came in from Tristan.


Cuttino Mobley was the first one to speak up. He stated, “Imagine that child!” Tristan took the opportunity and added, “Listen, that kid better be an NBA player. He better not be putting boxes in FedEx. He is gonna be so tall.” MJ Acousta was visibly annoyed by the job analogy and exclaimed, “Boxes in FedEx??? Tristan, please!” Tristan, however, did not stop and hilariously continued, “You know this kid is going to be 7 feet 100%. If he gets his Mama's talent and his Dad's toughness, it'll be one of the greatest of all time." The studio broke into laughter from these predictions.
