AHMEDABAD: Meherzad Bhagwagar brushed aside Kamal Karera in two straight frames and make it to the third round of senior anooker event in the Gujarat State Open Ranking Billiards and Snooker Championship which is jointly organized by Rajpath Club and Gujarat State Billiards Association (GSBA). Bhagwagar won 74-17, 53-13.
Tushar Sahay and Sanjay Shah also advanced with easy wins against Suvrat Puri and Abhishek Smart respectively.
Amit Patel and Vikas Sangle had no such luck and were stretched to the limit before prevailing over Anu Nair and Hardik Patel respectively.
In the sub junior snooker event young Karmesh Patel swiped away Mayur Garg 55-04. Whereas Mitul Baldaniya overcame Het Patel at 86-59.
