Two silvers for Faisal Yousufuddin

Faisal Yousufuddin won silvers in trap and skeet events in the shotgun competition at the AP state shooting competition at Saap ranges in Gachibowli on Saturday. He finished second to Wasif H Lateef in trap and to Subir Singh in skeet.

Double for Kartik
G Sai Karthik Reddy achieved a double clinching the boys under-14 and under-12 titles in the Sun-Jay Academy tennis tournament here on Saturday. Kartik defeated Krishna Teja 8-3 in the under-14 final and downed Justice by an identical margin in the under-12 title clash.

VPG beat YMCA
Victory Playground defeated YMCA Hyderabad 25-20, 25-21 in the GHMC Invitation Open Volleyball Tournament here on Saturday. While Mohiz, Abhishak, Karthik and Krishna played well for VPG, Rajashkar and Vijay did well for YMCA.
YMCA basketball
The inaugural YMCA Hyderabad Open Basketball Tournament for clubs will kick off on June 13 here. In all 19 teams have confirmed participation. The first match will be between YMCA Hyderbad `B' and St Martin.
