Selena, Hrithika enter semifinals of Tamil Nadu State Ranking Table Tennis

CHENNAI: S Selena Deepthi (Jawahar) brushed aside S Hrithika (LTTA) 11–5, 11–9, 11–9 while M Nithya Shree (CH Ach) beat Yashini (Jawahar) 7-11, 11–7, 11–8, 5–11, 13–11 in a hard-fought battle to make it to the semifinals of the youth girls category of the Sonplas GMBH Fourth Tamil Nadu State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organized by RAM Table Tennis Club under the auspices of Tamil Nadu Table Tennis Association in Chennai on Thursday.
In the youth boys' section, R Santhosh Kumar (Jawahar) defeated V Malesh Kumar (Jawahar) 11–6, 13–11, 5–11, 11–5. In the other quarterfinal of the day, Sri Sai (KTTC) beat Anas Irshad (CTTF) 11–7, 13–11, 11–3.
