MUMBAI: Maharashtra men slumped to their second consecutive defeat, losing to National champions Indian Railways, but they could troop out with their heads held high, thanks to their positive attitude and fast game in the latter quarters of the match in the league phase of the United Phosporus-Savio Cup All India Basketball Tournament, co-sponsored by IOC and played at the Don Bosco court, Matunga here on Monday.
After a slow start against the rampaging Railwaymen, the Maharashtra hoopsters rallied and got their act together to put on an attractive display, but their early lethargy proved costly and they ended losing 70-94.
