As Tobias Myers begins his chapter with the Mets, Leah continues to show up for him. She works as a part-time nurse but has often been seen at MLB ballparks cheering him on.

When the trade became official, Leah posted a heartfelt message on Instagram along with a montage of memories from their time in Milwaukee.

“Three unforgettable years, a front row seat to his debut and memories that will stay with me forever. So proud of the man you have become an incredible husband and selfless teammate,” she wrote.

The move to New York also reunited Myers with familiar faces. Former Brewers teammates Devin Williams and Freddy Peralta joined the Mets this offseason, which helped ease the transition. Myers admitted that seeing them made things feel comfortable right away.

“I was super excited,” Myers said. “Luckily, I had Devin over here, Freddy over here, a bunch of guys that I have played with in the past in the Minor Leagues. It just felt a little bit more familiar with the guys. And other than that, the new guys that I have met have been top-notch guys. They have really welcomed me and welcomed everybody new in the building. I have got no complaints.”

Although the Mets had the option to send him to Triple-A Syracuse, manager Carlos Mendoza confirmed that Myers is set to be part of the Opening Day roster. For Tobias Myers, this new journey with the Mets is not just about baseball. It is about family, friendship, and building something bigger in New York.
