These are strong numbers for any player under pressure. He added that Judge’s playoff WRC+ is 125, which is higher than several big names like Ronald Acuna Jr., Alex Bregman, and Mookie Betts.

Even in high-pressure regular season games, Judge stands out. Since 2017, he ranks fifth with a 143 WRC+ in such situations. Kay also mentioned that Judge has the most home runs in postseason elimination games. That again proves he can handle big moments.

However, the criticism did not stop there. Before the WBC final, Judge said the tournament felt “bigger and better than the World Series.” This statement upset many fans. Later, Judge clarified that he values both equally. Still, the comment added more pressure on him.
