British UFC star Paddy Pimblett recently went viral after a training session with TikTok creator Dean Alex took a painful turn inside the gym. The two linked up at Next Generation MMA in Liverpool after one of Alex’s followers dared him to spar with the UFC lightweight contender. What started as a light-hearted challenge quickly became intense once Pimblett increased the pressure during the exchange.

The Liverpool fighter appeared relaxed early in the session and allowed the influencer to throw punches freely. Alex even managed to land a few shots while Pimblett stayed composed. However, the mood changed after “The Baddy” connected with a spinning elbow and followed it with a combination of strikes. The TikToker struggled to handle the pace and power. Seconds later, Alex ran away from the mat before vomiting from exhaustion. The clip has since spread widely across social media as fans reacted to the one-sided sparring session ahead of Pimblett’s UFC comeback.

The sparring session gave fans another glimpse of the aggressive style that has made Paddy Pimblett one of the UFC’s biggest personalities. Although the training exchange was friendly, the UFC lightweight eventually showed the massive gap between a professional fighter and a social media creator.

Dean Alex became popular online through unusual fan challenges and his well-known catchphrase asking people if they knew who he was. One follower suggested he test himself against Pimblett inside the cage.

At first, Pimblett controlled the pace carefully. He stayed patient and avoided throwing heavy shots. The UFC star even smiled during parts of the exchange while allowing Alex to gain confidence. But once Pimblett increased the intensity, the difference in skill became obvious.

The turning point came when Pimblett landed a spinning elbow cleanly during the spar. He then followed with several quick strikes that overwhelmed the influencer. Alex backed away immediately and later became sick near the side of the mat after struggling with the pressure.

Pimblett is now preparing for his next appearance at UFC 329 during International Fight Week in Las Vegas. He is scheduled to face Benoit Saint Denis at the T-Mobile Arena on July 11.

The Liverpool native is looking to bounce back after suffering a unanimous decision defeat against Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 earlier this year.
