Earlier this year, Sophia took time off from her athletic commitments due to her pregnancy. The loss of one of the most dynamic scorers in both Portland Thorns FC and the USWNT attacking circle will be felt for much of the upcoming NWSL season, if not longer, and a portion of the USWNT schedule, too. In the meantime, Michael has also created a solid career for himself. Selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, he has become one of the more dependable receivers in the Arizona Cardinals’ arsenal, collecting over 1,100 yards and seven TDs in two years.
