She also posted photos of her festive decorations at home. The posts came during a new phase of her life, as she continues to adjust after stepping away from competitive gymnastics.

Dunne officially said goodbye to LSU gymnastics after the team was eliminated in the NCAA semi-finals. Since then, she has turned her focus toward content creation, modeling, and social media work. The former gymnasts’ Christmas celebrations were fancy yet subtle, as she celebrated the true spirit of the holiday.

Olivia Dunne shared a snapshot of her Christmas Eve celebration on Instagram. The image featured several Polaroid photos arranged together. In the pictures, Dunne wore a cozy red outfit and smiled alongside her loved ones. The set included moments with her dog Roux, her sister Julianna Dunne, and other family members. She captioned the post simply with, “Christmas Eve”.

Along with family time, Dunne also highlighted her support for her boyfriend, Paul Skenes. As she prepared for Christmas, she shared a photo of a custom holiday ornament. The ornament featured the Pittsburgh logo and the words “2025 CY”. It was a clear nod to Skenes, who recently won his first National League Cy Young Award. The post served as a subtle but proud tribute to his achievement.

Dunne has also been open about how life feels after gymnastics. She spent five years competing for LSU and experienced both success and setbacks. Injuries affected the final stages of her career, and she was unable to compete at the 2025 NCAA Championships.

After retiring, Forbes named her one of the top creators. Speaking to NCAA’s Michella Chester, Dunne shared her thoughts on moving forward.

“It’s so weird to think about not doing a sport anymore, but I’m excited to say yes to all the opportunities that I couldn’t say yes to because of gymnastics. And honestly, just have some fun,” Olivia Dunne said.

Since retirement, Dunne has appeared on the covers of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and Maxim in 2025. She also earned a spot on the Time100 Creators list.
