One of the greatest celebrities of the golf world, Rory McIlroy, has finally commented on the viral buzz concerning the U.S. Ryder Cup shirt unofficially featuring his silhouette. The Northern Irishman, now preparing for the biennial show-down, laughed when asked about the issue.The buzz started earlier in the week when Iain MacMillan, the sports analyst, posted a screenshot of a Ralph Lauren T-shirt from the U.S. Ryder Cup collection. The shirt had a silhouette of a golfer whom fans were quick to identify as resembling McIlroy. Only weeks away from the Ryder Cup, that very quickly became a talking point in golfing circles, with many amused by the idea of a European star's cameo in American merch. Asked about the shirt during the BMW PGA Championship, McIlroy brushed it off with his usual wit. "It's look more like Adam Scott to me than me, I think. But yeah, it looks a little similar. I don't know”, he mentioned.The world No. 2 golfer went on, "That's okay that's fine.
