The Portugal manager shared that Ronaldo continues to work with the same intensity even after winning major honours throughout his career. Martinez noted that many players lose motivation after reaching the top, but Ronaldo remains fully focused on becoming better every single day.

The coach also highlighted Ronaldo’s discipline and commitment to maintaining his fitness levels. He admitted that genetics play an important role, but added that Ronaldo uses every possible method to keep his body in peak condition. Martinez stressed that the Al-Nassr star’s mindset is the biggest reason behind his incredible longevity in football.

Martinez further praised Ronaldo for setting an example to younger players in Portugal. He believes the striker’s mentality is rare in modern football and said very few athletes can maintain such dedication for so many years.
