Devang gives Team Novelgenix the lead

AHMEDABAD: Devang Shah put on display fine form to help his team Novelgenix finish a the top of the leader board at the end of the opening round of the Navratna TAEGA Cup played at Kalhaar Blues and Greens Golf Course. Leading the charge, Devang ensured that his outfit led the four-team tournament with 246 points at the end of the first round that saw 40 matches.Coming in behind the leaders were Jyotin Gor- led Team Tailors Point who gathered 233 points while Team Shaishya, led by Monesh Mashruwala, took third rung with 123 points. Rajiv Vasa’s Team Docsuns completed the tally with 102 points.
In the day’s interesting ties, Devang Shah and Tejas Amin of Team Novelgenix won eight up with 26 pointts against Sachin Chauhan and Piyush Shah of Team Docsuns
Amod Joshi and Shreekant Goenka of Team Tailors Point won six up with 22 points against Shamik Bhatt and Vinod Kumar of Team Shaishya.
Sanjana and Vekaraman Iyer of Team Novelgenix won five up with 20 pts against Anusha Tripathi and Devina of Team Docsuns. Ojas Jani and Aditi Vakhariya of Team Shaishya won six up with 22 points against Darshit Shah and Jigar Anjaria of Team Tailors Point.
