TDK secures Tokyo E-Prix title sponsorship, joins Formula E as Official Partner
Formula E has partnered with global technology company TDK, a leader in the automotive and mobility industry, as the Title Partner for the Tokyo E-Prix and has also announced it as an Official Partner for the current 2025/26 season. Japan is home to TDK, and the Tokyo E-Prix is set to be a night race this season in July. As an Official Partner of the championship, TDK will have a visible presence for fans at the circuit and those watching around the world through trackside branding and integrated digital and physical touchpoints during race events.
TDK will also serve as the Official Partner of Change. Accelerated. Live Tokyo, Formula E’s thought-leadership summit that brings together experts from industry, government, and sport to discuss the future of sustainable mobility and technology.
Expressing his vision, TDK CEO Noboru Saito also said, “TDK has consistently regarded automotive as a priority market and, through this title sponsorship and partnership, reaffirms its commitment to contributing to its ongoing transformation. TDK aims to become a trusted and essential partner at the heart of the automotive industry, strategically positioned in future mobility, vehicle electrification, and data-driven intelligence.”
“As safety systems and autonomous driving technologies advance, we are powering the revolution in electric mobility from within. A conventional internal combustion engine vehicle already houses thousands of TDK products, a number that grows even higher in electric vehicles. The Tokyo E-Prix will be a doubleheader and is scheduled for July 24–26. It will be a night race on the streets of Japan.
