Jeddah E-Prix: Taylor Barnard revisits double-podium memories, Mitch Evans and Nico Muller also share their excitement
Formula E’s GEN3 cars are set to light up Jeddah as the season heads into its first double-header. Rounds 4 and 5 will take place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and will also mark the first night race of the season. Adding to the excitement is the return of the Pit Boost feature for the double-header. Taylor Barnard, who claimed his maiden double podium in Jeddah last year, has already shared his anticipation for the upcoming event. Meanwhile, the latest Round 3 podium finishers in Miami, Mitch Evans and Nico Muller, have also spoken about looking forward to the race weekend.
Sharing his thoughts ahead of the upcoming double-header, he wrote on Instagram: “Miami didn’t go our way, but eyes forward to Jeddah. Ready to bounce back.”
Mitch Evans, who won the last race in Miami, wants to continue the momentum in Jeddah. The Jaguar TCS Racing driver said, “Getting the win in Miami was a huge boost, for me personally of course, but for the whole team as well. It was one of those races where everything just came together, and to take my 15th Formula E victory with Jaguar made it even more special. Now the attention shifts to Jeddah, which is a completely different challenge. We’ve shown we have the pace, and if we execute well across both races, there’s a big opportunity for us to really ride this momentum.”
The Jeddah E-Prix begins with practice on February 12. Rounds 4 and 5 are scheduled for February 13 and 14. The Jeddah E-Prix will also be followed by the special EVO Sessions, which will see influencers stepping into the shoes of Formula E drivers for a thrilling experience.

Mitch Evans and Nico Muller ready for the Jeddah challenge
Nico Muller, who won his maiden pole position and the second podium of his career in Miami, is also pumped for the upcoming race weekend. He said, “I’m excited for the Jeddah E-Prix. A night race is always special. It’s a cool track, and it suits the GEN3 Evo well. It’ll be the first Pit Boost race of the season, which will make things challenging with two completely different races. It also makes preparation more intense because we’re preparing for two different scenarios. However, we have a strong base, the car and the team are performing well, and now it’s about optimizing our package for this track and the conditions. We are fully focused on scoring points and chasing that victory.”Mitch Evans, who won the last race in Miami, wants to continue the momentum in Jeddah.
