NEW DELHI: Inter Milan secured a commanding 3-0 win against Torino on Saturday, temporarily reclaiming the top spot in the Serie A standings. Goals from Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez, and a penalty conversion by Hakan Calhanoglu sealed the victory.
Thuram initiated the scoring just before the one-hour mark when Denzel Dumfries delivered an artfully concealed pass.Thuram, who was unmarked, impressively slotted the ball into the far corner with his first touch.

A mere eight minutes later, Martinez extended Inter's lead by heading in a deflected corner from close range. This goal marked his 11th league goal this season.

In the dying minutes of the game, Calhanoglu netted a third goal from the penalty spot. The penalty was awarded due to a foul committed by Ivan Ilic on Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
With this win, Inter Milan surged to the top of the Serie A table with 22 points, edging ahead of arch-rivals AC Milan by a single point. In contrast, Torino are positioned in 14th place with a total of nine points.
