Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 has raised the bar to new heights with its huge array of content. Be it a new playable character as Ultron or new in-game items like Combat Chest, this mid-season update made every fan happy.
However, now it’s time to move on to the next chapter in Marvel Rivals as Season 3 in the game is knocking on the door, which is expected to release next month. However, we might have already got the heroes which we can get in the upcoming season in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals Season 3 leaked heroes
Before the start of Season 2, NetEase Games confirmed that in the near future the game would follow the “a new hero every month” model. We saw Emma Frost and Ultron surfacing into the game in Season 2 and Season 2.5 respectively, that means two heroes in two months.
However, the ‘near future’ is here and Season 3 would follow the new formula where we will see a new hero each month taking entry into the game. The developers also confirmed at that time that upcoming seasons (starting from Season 3) will last for two months only, with second months being the mid-season refresh. We are still some days away from Season 3, but might have got the potential characters of the upcoming season.
In the r/MarvelRivalsLeaks subreddit, a user named VeniceArtime shared a screenshot of the upcoming Twitch Drops in Season 3. This information has been leaked by Twitch itself and the screenshot mentioned the name of Phoenix and Blade.
As of now, these two characters aren’t a part of the game, and keeping in mind the mentioned dates in the screenshot which falls on the same day of the potential release date of Season 3 (July 11, 2025), Phoenix and Blade might get playable in the upcoming season.
The leak also confirmed that Season 3 will be termed as ‘The Abyss Awaken’, which will reportedly feature new team-up abilities, Venomized costumes, and many summer-themed events.
