Royal Challengers Bengaluru announced Sneh Rana as the replacement for Shreyanka Patil for the remaining Women's Premier League 2025 matches.
Shreyanka, who claimed 19 wickets in 15 matches for RCB, will miss the tournament's third edition due to injury. She had previously been absent from home series against West Indies and Ireland last year for similar reasons.
Rana, a 30-year-old off-spin all-rounder, joins RCB from her previous team Gujarat Giants for Rs 30 lakh. She brings valuable experience to the squad.
The defending champions RCB started their campaign successfully with a six-wicket victory over Gujarat Giants in Vadodara on Friday.
