Roston Chase is in for a chat. He says that he told himself to go big early and put pressure on Pakistan. He and Hope had a chat in the middle, targeting a score of around 275. He thinks this is one of the best knocks he's seen Hope play. Considering the last game was a day-night match with different conditions, Chase believes 294 is enough for a day game.

Pakistan began by inviting the chase but saw Brandon King depart early and Evin Lewis falter, with Keacy Carty also dismissed after a quality ball from Abrar Ahmed. Hope anchored the innings while Sherfane Rutherford fell, and Naseem Shah temporarily tilted the balance with a crucial yorker on Roston Chase. Motie’s promotion faltered at 5, before Greaves’ arrival changed the tempo. 

Shai Hope and Justin Greaves absolutely took the game to Pakistan with their incredible 110-run stand for the 7th wicket, remaining unbeaten and propelling West Indies to a formidable total of 294/6. Hope boosted his ODI tally with an 18th century, while Greaves added a brisk 43* off 24, delivering the late fireworks. The last ten overs yielded 119, showcasing clever shotmaking and finishing to set a stiff target in the decider.
