Excellent observation by Russel Arnold on air. He says that in the 2022 series, where Prabath Jayasuriya made his Test debut, the Aussie batters were looking to come at the left-arm spinner, getting beaten in flight and then by turn. But so far, today, the batters have been patient to allow the ball to come to him, playing him more of the back foot. Of course, every now and then, the batters do come down the track, but you hardly see a forward lunge.

I think it is safe to say that we have lost the sun now. It has grown very gloomy and has gotten darker as well.
