First ever cricket tournament for specially abled cricketers held in Chamba
CHAMBA: As many as thirty cricketers with special abilities participated in a cricket tournament held in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh.“For the first time we organised a cricket tournament with players having special abilities in Chamba district, we were expecting five to six crickets to converge but to our utter surprise around 30 players arrived from different places to participate in the cricket tournament” said Deepak Bhatia, president of NGO Prerna -The Inspiration - while talking to TOI on Monday.A total of three matches were played where Team A won all the matches while the player of Team B also gave an encouraging performance.Ajay Kumar, captain of Team A, was rewarded with Man of the Match and the Man of the Series. Raj Kumar and Ajay Kumar were honoured for best bowling and batting respectively.
