Former India cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri made his presence felt at the All England Club on Tuesday, July 8, sharing his excitement online. Shastri, 63, took to his official X handle to post a selfie from Wimbledon and express his delight at being back at the iconic venue. “Great to be back at the Home of Tennis! @Wimbledon never disappoints, class, tradition, royalty in abundance. The Spanish Bull vs the local lad later today... should be an absolute ripper!” he wrote, referring to the much-anticipated clash between Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Britain's Cameron Norrie. Shastri's presence at the Grand Slam continues a growing trend of Indian cricket icons making appearances during the 2025 edition. Just a day earlier, Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma turned heads with their visit to Centre Court — the former India captain making his first Wimbledon appearance in a decade following his Test retirement earlier this year.
