Wimbledon 2025 has been a thrilling affair so far, attracting top names from the world of sport. After David Beckham and Maria Sharapova graced the Royal Box on Day 1, the star-studded guest list has only grown richer in the days that followed. With the women’s singles final set and the men’s semi-finals underway, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar made a surprise appearance at the tournament. Pictures of the former India captain immediately went viral on social media, with fans expressing their excitement. Tendulkar had earlier made headlines on Thursday after being honoured at Lord’s with a larger-than-life portrait at the MCC museum. He also rang the five-minute bell at the iconic venue for the first time in his life.
Joining him at SW19 have been several other Indian cricketers, including Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Ravi Shastri, Deepak Chahar, and Suryakumar Yadav. Among the English contingent, Joe Root, James Anderson, and Stuart Broad were also spotted in attendance.

He was also seen shaking hands with England star Root, who was sitting alongside James Anderson in the Royal Box. Following Djokovic's win over Australia's Alex de Minaur, the Serbian also joked that it was the first time he won a game when Federer was watching.
