STRATEGIC BREAK! Time for everyone to catch their breath after an action-packed first nine overs of the RCB chase. It was a flying start at 40/0 after three overs, but the momentum has swung sharply since, with Bengaluru losing 5 wickets for 32 runs in the next five. The early intent from Grace Harris ensured they stayed ahead of the required rate, but it’s the loss of wickets that has hurt them. There is still batting to come from Shreyanka Patil and Prema Rawat, and this partnership will need to take the game deep. The Mumbai Indians didn’t start well but have stormed back into the contest. Just one over of spin so far has already paid dividends, with Amelia Kerr striking twice. Expect spin from both ends soon, with Saika Ishaque yet to be introduced. She will be a handy option with two right-handers at the crease.
