IPL 2026 schedule this week (30th March - 5th April): The IPL 2026 is up and running in grand style with the timeless Virat Kohli lighting up the season opener as defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru got off to a winning start, while Super Sunday saw Vintage Rohit Sharma in his full flow as Mumbai Indians broke a 14-year-old jinx with a record-setting chase against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Next, on to the first full week of IPL 2026 action and it’s a sumptuous list of matches lined from 30th March to 5th April.





The young core of Chennai Super Kings will take on the other bunch of Young Turks in Rajasthan Royals led by the newly appointed captain Riyan Parag, while the Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans will be looking for a winning start against last year’s finalist - Punjab Kings. Mid-week scrum will see Axar Patel’s Delhi Capitals aiming to make this a memorable season when they start their campaign against Rishabh Pant’s Lucknow Super Giants.

On Thursday, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will be back on the park for the second time seeking their first points, respectively while on Friday, PBKS will square off against CSK - which will be the second game for both the teams.

Capping off the weekend will be double-headers with MI vs DC and RR vs GT while Super Sunday will see LSG vs SRH and CSK vs RCB.
