final with a two-wicket win over hosts Hyderabad on Wednesday.


If Delhi manage to beat Chennai in their next knockout game on Friday, they will book a place in their maiden final of the league against Mumbai.

Pant, who resurrected the Delhi innings from a precarious 111/5 while chasing 163, showed brilliant game awareness to target Hyderabad's weakest link Basil Thampi, smashing him for 22 runs in the 18th over before getting out for a match-winning 49 off 21 balls, including two fours and five sixes.

After a few hiccups, Keemo Paul exhibited a sound head to score the winning runs off the penultimate ball of the match.
