Australia Women's bowling performance was outstanding, as they consistently kept on applying pressure on the India Women batters. Megan Schutt was the standout bowler, claiming five wickets and turning the tide in Australia's favor. The supporting bowlers also contributed, each taking a wicket, ensuring that India Women could never settle into their innings. India's innings got off to a rocky start, with both of their openers falling before the seventh over. Harleen Deol and captain Harmanpreet Kaur briefly steadied the innings, reaching 40 for 2 by the end of the powerplay. However, Ashleigh Gardner made an immediate impact, dismissing Deol soon. Kaur fell and India Women saw themselves in a spot of bother. A run-out of Deepti Sharma made things worse for India Women as they were reeling at 92 for 6. The tailenders failed to make any impact as well and India Women were finally bowled out for just 100 runs.
