Hangargekar to Thomas | SIX!
A cracking flat six over the deep mid-wicket fence from George Thomas to end the Rajvardhan Hangargekar second over. Hangargekar digs the ball in short and Thomas was waiting for it on the backfoot. Launches it over the deep fence. An expensive 14-run over from Hangargekar comes to an end. ENG 18/1 after 3 overs

Hangargekar to Thomas | FOUR! FOUR!
George Thomas on the charge! Slams a couple of back-to-back boundaries off Rajvardhan Hangargekar on either side of the wicket. The first one was a lovely cover-drive and then follows it up with an uppish flick over mid-wicket. Hangargekar straying in his line on both occasions. Pays the price for it! ENG 12/1 after 2.3 overs

Ravi to Bethell | OUT!
Early success for India in this big-ticket finale. Ravi Kumar draws first blood. Strikes in his first over! Traps Jacob Bethell right in front of the stumps with a straight delivery. Bethell tries to play across the line and misses the ball completely. The on-field umpire had no doubts about it as he raised his finger instantly. Bethell walks back for 2. ENG 4/1 after 1.5 overs

Ravi partners up with Hangargekar
A tidy first over from Rajvardhan Hangargekar. Just a couple of runs from it. Ravi Kumar to share the new-ball responsibilities with Hangargekar from the other end. There is a strong breeze blowing across that might help Ravi with the swing. Two slips in place for him as well. ENG 2/0 after 1 over

A batting paradise, that's all I can describe about this surface. It is hard as a rock, there isn't any live grass. The batsmen can trust the bounce and the bowlers need to find way to restrict runs and take wickets. Both teams have quality batsmen and they also have depth in their batting line-up and I think we are gonna see a batting masterclass.

We also wanted to bat first. We take it game by game and we play with a positive mindset. Change of venue doesn't bother us. No changes in the playing eleven for us.

We will have a bat first, pitch looks a good one and obviously scorecard pressure, chasing in a finals is always hard. To put 230 against them (Afghanistan) and then defend how we did gives us great confidence going into this game. We are playing the same team.

Virat Kohli gave us his best wishes for the final. We got confidence from that, the morale increases when a senior player like him talks to you. He told us how we can execute our plans and he told us about the basics of the game, it was a nice interaction with him.

There's something about Delhi cricketers and the U-19 World Cup. Following in the footsteps of his Delhi 'seniors', Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand, Dhull became the third Indian captain to slam a hundred. He will now love to emulate Kohli and Chand and lift the coveted trophy on Saturday.
