3rd T20I: India choose to bat first; Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal to play against Zimbabwe

NEW DELHI: In the third Twenty20 International (T20I) match held on Wednesday, India's captain Shubman Gill made the strategic decision to bat first after winning the coin toss.

This game is a crucial one as it is part of a five-match series, which, prior to this match, was evenly balanced with both teams having secured one win each.

The match saw some changes in the Indian squad. Notably, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal were included in the team lineup for this encounter.

Their inclusion came after their participation in a celebratory victory parade in Mumbai, which was held in honour of India's triumph in the T20 World Cup. This suggests a strategic move to leverage their current form and morale following the global victory.

In terms of the bowling department, there was a significant adjustment made to the team composition. Khaleel Ahmed was brought into the playing eleven, taking the place of Mukesh Kumar.
