Innings Break! After electing to bat first #TeamIndia post a total of 198/8 on the board. Over to the bowlers now… https://t.co/zszu6Qms6b
— BCCI (@BCCI) 1657219888000England too will not be that disappointed with their bowling. Although they could have done much better by bowling tight lines and keeping it tight early on. Moeen Ali struck with two wickets inside the Powerplay but England leaked runs after that in the middle phase. Chris Jordan was the most economical of the seven bowlers used as he finished with two wickets. Jos Buttler will be happy with the performance and he will bet on the batters to chase this.
India will be really happy with the score. Apart from Ishan Kishan, everyone chipped in with runs and got off to a good start and with an impressive strike rate as well but failed to convert into a big one. It was then Hardik Pandya who hunted runs and scored his maiden fifty in the process. Just when a good finish was required, he fell at the wrong time. Dinesh Karthik tried his best to finish things on a high but he too fell and India failed to cross the 200-run mark. Still, not that bad score but it is a belter to bat on and the bowlers need to step up.
So, 20 runs off the last three over! India will feel they missed out on a good finish as they ran out of batters. But in the end, both the teams will be happy with the score.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar calls for a single, Patel is a bit late to take off. Jos Buttler gathers the ball, turns and scores a bulls eye at the non-striker's end. Harshal Patel's innings comes to an end.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the new batter in.
Tymal Mills to Dinesh Karthik, OUT! CAUGHT! A wonderful running catch by Sam Curran means Karthik's innings comes to an end. It is a slower delivery, on a length, outside off. Karthik moves to the leg side and misjudges it completely. The ball goes off the outer half over point and Curran takes a sharp catch.
