Jasprit Bumrah got rid of opener Rory Burns in the first over and then a gutsy review call from skipper Virat Kohli late in the session sent Zak Crawley packing for 27 as England were 61 for two at Lunch on Day 1 of the Nottingham Test. Skipper Joe Root won the toss and took the risk of opting to bat first on a green top. England lost Burns in the first over as Bumrah trapped the left-hander right in front for a five-ball duck. But after that, Dominic Sibley and Crawley put up a brave fight against India's swing test, stitching a 42-run stand for the second wicket off 121 balls. With just under 20 minutes to go for the lunch, India took a couple of review against Crawley in the same over of Mohammed Siraj and got lucky in the second attempt. At the break, England skipper Joe Root was unbeaten on 12 alongside Dom Sibley, batting on 18 not out. For India, Bumrah and Siraj shared a wicket each.
