Israeli Soldier Killed In Latest Hezbollah Attack As Tel Aviv Seeks Lebanon Exemption From Iran Deal

The Israeli military on Monday announced that one of its soldiers was killed during operation in southern Lebanon. Sergeant Nehorai Laser of the 601st Combat Engineering Battalion was killed during operations in southern Lebanon, while another soldier was seriously wounded. Israeli media reports claimed the attack was carried out by Hezbollah drones. The IDF also announced the death of Sergeant Noam Hamburger during operations in northern Israel two days ago. The attacks by Israel and Hezbollah have continued despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire. The latest Israel-Hezbollah war began on March 2, after the Iran-backed group fired rockets into northern Israel two days after the U.S. and Israel started their attacks on Iran.
