NEW DELHI:
Harmanpreet Kaur, whose sizzling knock of 171 runs led the Indian team's victory in semi-final match of the ICC
Women's World Cup, will be honoured by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC).
Kaur's innings studded with 20 fours and seven sixes on 115 balls made India's entry into the final of the World Cup being played in England.
The whole nation particularly Sikh community is proud of Kaur, DSGMC general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa said.
He said the committee has decided to honour Kaur after her return from England.
Sirsa also congratulated Kaur's father Harminder Singh over phone.
