Willow by Cricbuzz to stream Team USA T20 World Cup 2026 matches free on YouTube
Willow by Cricbuzz, the destination for live, streaming, and on-demand cricket in the US and Canada, has announced a major expansion of its cricket coverage for the 2026 season, headlined by the first-ever free broadcast of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 matches in the United States and Canada. The move begins with the highly anticipated USA vs India clash on February 7 at 8:30 a.m. ET, and is part of a broader push to make cricket more accessible to fans across the North America.
In a landmark partnership with YouTube, Willow will stream all four Team USA matches from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 — scheduled from February 7 to March 8 — free on YouTube. This marks the first time ICC World Cup matches will be available at no cost on the global video platform for viewers in the US and Canada. The same matches will also be free to watch on Willow and Cricbuzz platforms.
Alongside free access, Willow has teamed up with Jomboy Media to introduce a creator-led alternate telecast, offering fans a fresh and more conversational way to experience marquee fixtures. The alternate telecast, available on the Jomboy Media YouTube channel, will cover USA vs India and USA vs Pakistan and will blend live reactions, storytelling and expert insight with traditional match coverage.
Beyond the USA fixtures, Willow will carry the entire ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. All matches will be available on Willow’s linear channel through the YouTube TV “NFL RedZone with Sports Plus” package, as well as via Willow’s Primetime Channels service on YouTube. Across the tournament, all 55 matches will be available in English on Willow TV and Willow’s digital platforms, with Hindi-language coverage offered on Willow 2.
Willow by Cricbuzz is also launching an upgraded product experience across its website, mobile apps and connected TV apps, promising faster performance, higher-quality video and easier access to live matches, replays and highlights.
“The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup gives fans a chance to experience cricket at a true breakout moment in the U.S.,” said Todd Myers, Chief Operating Officer of Willow by Cricbuzz. “More than a decade ago, major ICC World Cup matches in the U.S. required $100-plus pay-per-view access. We helped bring the sport into an affordable monthly subscription, and now we are taking the next step by offering free access to some of the most anticipated matches of the year, alongside new creator-led programming and a viewing experience built for how fans engage with the game today.”
YouTube also highlighted the significance of the collaboration. “We're thrilled to partner with Willow by Cricbuzz to bring T20 World Cup USA cricket matches to YouTube for free, enabling our large audience of passionate sports fans the ability to engage with both the main livestream and an alternative creator-led livestream featuring Jomboy Media,” said Marc Hatfield, Partnerships Manager at YouTube. “Existing & new cricket fans will have the opportunity to hear live commentary with unique perspectives that only the YouTube creator community can deliver.”
The creator-led telecast will feature Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien, former England international and 2019 Cricket World Cup winner Liam Plunkett, and analyst Adam Bannon. “I discovered cricket during COVID and instantly fell in love,” said O’Brien. “We're excited to create new fans in the US for baseball's older cousin.”
As cricket’s profile continues to grow in the US ahead of its return to the Olympics at LA28, Willow’s distribution strategy reflects that momentum.
The USA matches — against India (February 7, 8:30 a.m. ET), Pakistan (February 10, 8:30 a.m. ET), the Netherlands (February 13, 8:30 a.m. ET) and Namibia (February 15, 4:30 a.m. ET) — will be distributed across:
