Delhi would have preferred a stronger finish without conceding those late boundaries, but they will still be satisfied with keeping Mumbai in check. The magic number for their maiden title is 150. If the dew sets in, it could ease their chase, but their openers will need to be cautious early on against the new ball. The slower deliveries have been effective on this pitch, while the quicker ones have tended to disappear just as fast. It all sets up an intriguing chase. Back in a bit for Delhi's reply.

Marizanne Kapp is in for a chat. She says she is pleased to contribute to the side but will be happier if her team chases the total down. On her match-up with Hayley Matthews, she lauds how good a batter Hayley is and says it just came good for her tonight. Mentions that losing finals hasn't been nice and she wants to win it this time. Adds that the pitch seems to have quickened up a bit than it was initially and they will have to just find gaps.

Kaur battled through cramps and brought up her fifty, but in keeping with the ebb and flow of this final, the momentum swung again with Sciver-Brunt’s dismissal. As Kaur kept losing partners at the other end, her task grew tougher, and Mumbai stumbled from 103/2 to 118/6. Towards the back end, efforts from Kamalini G, Amanjot Kaur and Sanskriti Gupta helped Mumbai get to 149.

Backed by sharp fielding, they restricted Mumbai to just 20 runs in the Powerplay while removing both openers. Harmanpreet Kaur then led the counterattack, gradually shifting the momentum once she settled in. Recognizing the situation, Natalie Sciver-Brunt played the perfect supporting role, allowing her skipper to take charge at the other end. 

A strong finish for Mumbai as they collect 25 runs off the last two overs. However, they might feel they left a few runs out there, given the platform set by Harmanpreet Kaur and Natalie Sciver-Brunt when they were going along nicely. Earlier, after opting to bowl first, Delhi put Mumbai under early pressure, courtesy of Marizanne Kapp’s incisive spell.
