1.3 Lakh Passengers Returned To India As Flight Availability Improves: Official

Aseem Mahajan, Additional Secretary (Gulf) at the Ministry of External Affairs, said nearly 1.3 lakh passengers have returned to India through various flights operating from the Gulf region. Speaking in Delhi, he noted that along with scheduled flights, non-scheduled commercial flights are also functioning to facilitate travel. From the United Arab Emirates, regular flight operations are taking place from multiple airports with several airline operators involved. According to officials, flight availability has significantly improved, making travel options more accessible for passengers. The government continues to coordinate with airlines and authorities to ensure smooth connectivity and safe movement of travelers between the Gulf and India.
