Vaishakha Amavasya is one of the most significant days in Hinduism. The day holds a great religious and spiritual significance. On this auspicious day, devotees offer their sincere prayers to their ancestors. On this sacred day, people perform Pitru tarpan, Pitru Puja and they also do Pind daan for the salvation of their forefathers. Amavasya falls every month.
