Ekadashi is one of the most auspicious days in Hinduism. The day is purely dedicated to Lord Vishnu and this time Padmini Ekadashi is going to take place in the month of Jyeshtha but this Ekadashi falls in every 3 years so it holds a great importance in Hindu religion. Devotees who fast on this Ekadashi will have health, wealth, prosperity, happiness, and spiritual elevation. Couples who are childless and hope to have a healthy kid can benefit from this fast. Padmini Ekadashi is made much more remarkable by the confluence of Purushottam Maas. Worshiping the Lord during this time is very fulfilling.
Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath before starting any puja ritual. Give bath to the idol of Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu and Laddoo Gopal ji. Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Vishnu along with Shree Yantra (a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi) and adorn the idol with garland, offer tulsi patra, dry fruits, 5 seasonal fruits and home made sweets. You should not pluck the tulsi leaves on the day of Ekadashi because it is not considered auspicious to pluck them on Ekadashi. Doing charity on this day is considered rewarding. Worship Tulsi plant in the evening by lighting a earthen lamp near the plant and circumambulate 7 times around it if you can.
