1. Take a holy bath as soon as you wake up.

You can light a diya in front of the idol of Maa Durga, offer fresh flowers, garlands, and fruits, apply kumkum to the forehead, and present homemade sweets.

4. Offer the Goddess with at least five shringaar articles (bindi, saree, bangles, mehendi, sindoor, and haldi).

5. Light a camphor and cloves and present it to the goddess.

6. Perform Maa Katyayani Aarti and Goddess Durga.

7. Ask the divine mother for forgiveness and blessings.

8. After presenting bhog prasad to the Goddess, devotees may break their fast.
