The first PWF has been postponed because of the Karachi blasts.

In the lime light! (TOI Photo)Tomorrow would have been a historical date for Pakistani fashion, as the four-day Pakistan Fashion Week (PFW) was to unfurl itself in all it’s chic glory in Lahore. But sadly that won’t be happening.
The tragic events of October 18, in Karachi have put a damper on the PFW that would have been Pakistan’s first ever fashion week.
According to the organisers, the event is now being rescheduled and the new date will be announced shortly.
Under the current security protocol, officials involved with the event have been advised against travelling to Pakistan. Moreover international delegates attending the PFW, including buyers, media and models too have received similar travel warnings.
The PFW was to showcase Spring/Summer ‘08 collections this month. There was also a preview of the PFW at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week.
