Udit Narayan steals the show at "Mahakte Lamhe" in Kuwait

Kuwait’s leading socio cultural society, Indian Cultural Society (ICS) presented "Mahakte Lamhe" with India’s renowned play back singer Udit Narayan and Female Singer Deepa Narayan along with reality shows fame Neha Chouhan mesmerized the packed audience at Kuwait’s prestigious American International School , on Friday 10th June 2011. The chief guest of the event was H.E. Vidhu P Nair Charge d" Affaires Embassy of India, Kuwait. Prominent personalities including Sheikha Souad Jaber Atheb Al Sabah, a talented Kuwaiti designer, who loves India, a country she visited many times and has sought inspiration for her designs, Ahmad Khwaja, board member of Dar Al Athar Al Islamiyah, the organization, that promotes Islamic art and builds bridges between cultures were the guest of honour.The program started with the formal welcome address by the ICS president and anchor of the day, Ashfaque Ahmed Khan, along with the singing of the National Anthems of Kuwait and India. A colourful souvenir was released on the occasion by prominent personalities including Fahad Al Forrah, Osama Al Hulaifi, N S Suresh, Sanjiv Kumar, Kamal Al Deen, Fazil Abdul Razzaq. Special honor was given to Journalist Chaitali Roy.The entertainment part of the program started with dance artists, followed by a song by upcoming singer Baby Safa Khan. Lucknow born Neha Chouhan established herself as superb performer in maximum reality shows especially in Chak De & Comedy Circus mesmerized the audience with some of her hit songs.Then camethe most awaiting moment were Udit Narayan entered the stage singing the mostsuper hit song "Papa Kehte hai" from the movie Qayamat se Qayamat tak. He sangmany of his hit songs. Audience were enthralled and dazzled with his songs andmany requested songs and Udit Narayn did not disappoint them. He sang allrequests that came from the audience. In the song "Main Nikla Gaddi Leke" fewgirls came and danced with him. He even sang songs from other languages likeOdissi, Kannada, Bengali etc.Udit Narayan along with his wife Deepa Narayan who is also a talented singer and producer of many films and Co-Singer Baby Safa Khan, Trishna Mukhrji and Neha Chauhan gave some everlasting super hit numbers.
