'Aarpar' is a love story that takes a deeper dive into the nuances of a modern relationship, with its insecurities, fights and sacrifices. Amar (Lalit Prabhakar) and Prachi (Hruta Durgule) fall for each other in college, but their lives diverge after graduating. The couple is faced with some difficult life choices which lead to their relationship taking a toxic turn as they are pulled into the quagmire of family expectations and mental wellbeing.'Aarpar' is a well paced and beautifully executed love story that brings the intricacies of romance under the microscope. The story is written with care to ensure a balanced look at the passion of two flawed individuals and their undying love for each other. Few romance stories ever address what happens after the happily ever after and Aarpar explores this thoroughly without being preachy.The music and cinematography are well executed and immerse you into their aesthetic world. Both Prabhakar and Durgule give solid performances and their chemistry is palpable. Director Gaurav Patki hits a home run when it comes to creating a gripping story. One follows the lives of Amar and Prachi as would one their own friends. While the toxic relation they share leaves behind a trail of broken people, one still roots for them to find peace.'Aarpar' is one for the couples to watch this weekend. Well performed and well made.
