Apple iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 2 tablets have received a price cut online. The discounted price tag on the two devices can be seen on leading etailer websites – Amazon and Flipkart.

Apple iPad Air 2, which currently has an MRP of Rs 45, 900, is available at a discounted price of Rs 40,190 on Amazon. Flipkart too is offering the tablet at a competitive price tag of Rs 40,849. It is not clear till how long the offer will run.

Apple launched the iPad Mini 2 or the iPad Mini with Retina display in 2013. The tablet got a price cut last year when the company launched its iPad Air Pro along with the iPad Mini 4. The iPad Mini 2 currently comes at a MRP of Rs 21,900. However, as a part of the limited discount offer, Amazon and Flipkart are offering the tablet at Rs 17,990 and Rs 18,990.

It is worth mentioning that both the iPad models available on discounts are the 16GB inbuilt storage variants with Wi-Fi-only connectivity.
Flipkart is also offering a discount on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablet. The device that has been listed at a price of Rs 67,900, is available at a special discounted price of Rs 62,605. The discount is on the 32GB Wi-Fi only model.

Apple is currently gearing up to launch its next iPhone models, likely to be called iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The upcoming iPhones, as per the latest leaks, will be featuring a dual camera setup. The images also reveal that the handsets might also ditch the antenna lines from the back panel.

KGI Securities Ming-Chi Kuo, who has the best track record when it comes to Apple devices, recently said in a research note that Apple will ship a dual-lens iSight camera in all iPhone 7 Plus models.

Kuo also predicts that iPhone 7 Plus will come with 3GB RAM, with Apple adding another gigabyte to the total RAM. However, iPhone 7 will come with 2GB RAM.
