Nextbit launches world's first cloud-based smartphone Robin in India at Rs 19,999

NEW DELHI: The US-based company Nextbit has launched its cloud-based smartphone Robin in India. Priced at Rs 19,999, Robin is said to be the the world's first cloud-based smartphone.
The Nextbit phone comes with a ‘Smart Storage Feature’, which enables the device to free up space by backing up apps and photos to the cloud, and archiving the least-used apps in case the space runs out.
Robin leaves thumbnails of all archived content on the smartphone, making it easy for users to restore them with just a tap.
