LG X Cam smartphone to launch in India soon at Rs 21,500: Sources
NEW DELHI: LG is all set to launch the next 'X' series smartphone in India. According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the company will launch X Cam in India soon. The India price of the smartphone has been tipped at at Rs 18,999.
The South Korean giant announced the new mid-range X series of 'specialists' smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in February this year.
LG has claimed that every smartphone in the series will boasts of a special feature. As the name suggests, camera is the key highlight of the LG X Cam smartphone. The handset will come with a 13MP and 5MP dual rear cameras capable of capturing at 120-degree wide angle.
On the specs front, LG X Cam features a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. It Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 1.14GHz octa-core processor. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The users can further expand the storage up to 2TB by installing a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with hybrid dual-sim functionality and sports a 13MP and 5MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 2,520 mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
LG launched the X Screen in India at Rs 12,999 and it is exclusively available on Snapdeal. The handset has a 4.93-inch primary display and a secondary 'Always-on' screen measuring 1.76-inch, similar to the one in LG's V10.
The second screen can be used to access frequently-used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity, check time, date, battery status and other notifications without turning on the smartphone.
