Lenovo Zuk Z1 to launch soon in India
NEW DELHI: Lenovo is all set to launch its first smartphone under its online-only brand Zuk in India. The company has sent out media invites for the Zuk Z1 launch but has not informed about the date.
The Zuk Z1 is expected to be competitively priced. It costs RMB 1,799 in China which converts to around Rs 18,200.
The smartphone offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display and comes in a metal frame. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated with the home button at the front and has a USB Type-C port.
The phone is powered by a 2,5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and an 8MP front camera. With support for 4G networks, the device is powered by a 4,100 mAh battery.
Lenovo had recently launched its Vibe K5 Plus for Rs 8,499. It comes with a 5-inch Full HD display with 1920x1080 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of the smartphone stands at 16GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual sim smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera accompained by LED flash and a 5MP front facing snapper to facilitate video calling. The connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and it houses a 2,750mAh battery.
